National Insurance Company Limited (NICL) released the official NICL AO Notification 2024 to recruit 274 vacancies for Administrative Officer Scale-I posts for Generalists and Specialist disciplines on its official website on 29th December 2023. Being one of the five completely owned insurance companies by the Government of India, it is a leading global insurance group with offices and branches spread all across the nation. NICL AO Recruitment Education Qualification:

  • Chartered Accountant (ICAI) / Cost Accountant (ICWA) OR B.COM / M.COM from a recognized University with at least 60% marks in either of the degree examinations (at least 55% for SC/ST) candidates.
Actuarial
  • Bachelor / Master’s degree in Statistics / Mathematics / Actuarial Science or any other quantitative discipline from a recognized University with at least 60% marks in either degree examinations (at least 55% for SC/ST) candidates.
Information Technology
  • B.E / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech in Computer Science/Information Technology/ MCA from a recognized University with at least 60% marks in either of the degree examinations (at least 55% for SC/ST) candidates.
Automobile Engineers
  • B.E. / B.Tech. / M.E. / M.Tech in Automobile Engineering from a recognized University with at least 60% marks in either degree examinations (at least 55% for SC/ST) candidates.
Hindi (Rajbhasha) Officers
  • Master’s Degree from a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level with 60% marks (for SC/ST 55% marks) OR
  • Master’s Degree from a recognized University in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level with 60% marks (for SC/ST 55% marks) OR
  • Master’s Degree from a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level with 60% marks (for SC/ST 55% marks) OR

NICL AO Recruitment Selection Process:

  • Candidate selection for Generalists and Specialist (except Hindi Officers) posts will be conducted in two phases- Prelims and Mains whereas there would be a single phase examination for NICL AO Hindi Officer Specialist posts.

NICL AO Recruitment Salary:

  • The starting Basic pay would be Rs. 50,925 /- in the scale of Rs.50925-2500(14)-85925-2710(4)-96765 and such other allowances as may be admissible under the rules in force from time to time in the company. Total emoluments will be approximately Rs. 85,000/- per month in Metropolitan Centres. Other benefits such as Pension under the New Pension scheme governed by PFRDA, Gratuity, LTS, Medical Benefits, Group Personal Accident Insurance, etc.
    shall be as per rules in force in the Company at the time of appointment. The Officers are also entitled to the Company’s / leased accommodation as per norms.
  • In addition to the above, Doctors (MBBS) appointed as Specialist Officers are eligible for Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA) to the tune of 25% of the Basic
    Pay is subject to conditions that may be applicable from time to time.

NICL AO Recruitment Age Limit:

  • The minimum age of the candidates should be 21 years and the maximum age of the candidates should not exceed 30 years.
